What was claimed

ChatGPT can now edit your photos like a professional photographer

Our verdict

Needs caution

While ChatGPT has advanced capabilities, sources explicitly state it works best for simple tasks and is inferior to dedicated editors for professional work like clean edges, faces, and product photos. It regenerates images rather than performing pixel-level editing like professionals do. (Only 2 of 3 AI systems responded.)
