DoubleChecks is an AI-powered verification tool that cross-references text against multiple independent AI systems to provide a verdict on accuracy. Results are informational and should not be treated as definitive fact.

3. User Accounts

You may use the Service without an account (limited free checks). When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit systems, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute results without permission

5. Credits and Payments

Free credits are provided on a limited basis. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Credits do not roll over between billing periods. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated verdicts may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. DoubleChecks does not guarantee the accuracy of any result and is not a substitute for professional fact-checking, legal advice, or expert opinion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoubleChecks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
